4×4 Vehicle Recovery

Colorado 4×4 Rescue and Recovery specializes in 4×4 vehicle recovery on forest service and 4×4 trails in the state of Colorado. This can include damaged or inoperative vehicles and those stuck in snow, mud or rocky conditions. Click the icon above for more information.

Who We Are

Colorado 4x4 Rescue and Recovery is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization created to help fellow wheelers in need. We specialize in on-trail and forest service road vehicle recovery and we do this all for no fee.  We do welcome donations as donations are extremely beneficial in the upkeep of the organization. Currently donations have paid for promotional materials such as flyers, banners, stickers, this website, and the various fees associated with the IRS and the State Department to register as a non-profit.

Our Mission Statement

Colorado 4x4 Rescue and Recovery is a 501(c)(3) Non Profit Organization created to provide vehicle and person recovery services on Colorado service roads, and 4x4 trails. This service involves the use of a trained team of members, 4x4 and other off highway vehicles, as well as recovery equipment and gear.

The specific objectives and purpose of this organization shall be:

a. To provide vehicle and person recovery services on Colorado service roads, and 4x4 trails.

b. To provide education to the public regarding preparedness and safe off-roading practices.

c. To support other organizations in advocating proper trail use and etiquette.

d. To provide opportunities for members of the 4x4 community to engage in recovery operations, and learn safe recovery practices.

e. To support local government and volunteer organizations in search and rescue operations, as well as when high clearance vehicles are needed for them to access an area.

f. To sponsor, host and/or participate in events and activities that promote the 4x4 hobby.
