We absolutely love seeing the stories of the folks we help pop up on our reviews. Thank you for sharing your story Kelly! We are so pleased to have been able to serve you in cooperation with the Clear Creek County Sheriff’s Office.

“These guys are truly guardian angels for those of us who have been put in desperate situations. On April 4th, 2018 four recently retired railroaders from Lincoln Nebraska, set out for an afternoon of riding in a Jeep Wrangler on trails just west of Idaho Springs. After about 3 hours on the trail we came to a point where the signs said to go left to Georgetown or right to head back to Highway 103 and Idaho Springs. Just as we began our decent back to Idaho Springs (about 2pm) we found 2 branches that were laying across the road. As we tried to travel over those branches, our rear end began to sink in a ditch filled with 3 – 4 feet of snow. The Jeep was high-centered with snow packed tight to the underframe. We tried to dig out, but it was a futile attempt. After several calls to local authorities, the only person to help us was the County Sheriff’s office who gave us the phone number of the GREATEST group of guys in Colorado! We sent our coordinates by text and they replied that they were putting together a TEAM by 5pm. We then got another text saying the team had met at the Kum & Go in Idaho Springs and they were on their way. At 6:45pm we saw headlights from 4 rescue units coming down the road. We were all very impressed with the kindness and professionalism of the team. After they winched us out of the snow and darkness fell, they led us down the mountain. 2 vehicles in front of us and 2 behind us. I cannot thank you guys enough for saving us from what would’ve been a very long and cold night in the mountains. I thank God that there are people like you out there. We’ve donated $, and It is but a portion of the gratitude that we have for your amazing group. God bless you all !!!”
