Prospective Member Informational Sessions
Would you like to join Colorado 4x4 Rescue and Recovery?
CO4x4RnR recruits new members twice a year, usually in the spring and early summer. As part of that new member recruitment process, we host New Member Informational Sessions anywhere from 3 to 5 weeks before the new cohort is going to start. During these sessions we cover the history of the org, our unique role in the search and rescue community, how a typical incident is fielded and executed, along with the application process and what new members can expect during their probationary period. It will be an interactive session, and we always leave time at the end for attendees to ask questions and open discussion. Our goal is to ensure that prospective members fully understand the requirements and what is expected of them before they join. Prior to applying to join the organization, all prospective members are required to attend at least one new member informational session. While we would like to meet you in person, we understand that is not always possible, so we have created remote meeting links for each of the events. If you want to attend a session remotely, you can simply click on the Remote Video Conference link or the date and be taken to a session registration page. This registration is ONLY if you are attending remotely, in person attendees can simply show up at the meeting location. We hope to see you all at a session soon!
* About The Mandatory Dates - if a candidate is selected for a particular cohort they will be required to attend both days of vehicle recovery training. It is best to apply to a cohort (spring or summer) based on whether you are able to attend the training weekend. Like any cohesive team, they learn together, they participate together, they work together.
