Mission Reports: 4Runner Trail Repair

June 29th a Team from Colorado 4×4 Rescue and Recovery went up the T-33 trail to help a 4Runner owner complete a trail repair after the passenger front corner suspension suffered a major failure.

The lower ball joint gave out and folded the tire up into the body, rendering the vehicle immobile. A common issue on lifted 4Runners apparently.

The team was on scene around 8:45 AM and work began immediately. The front end was fixed and vehicle was able to drive under its own power around 10 AM. Vehicle was loaded on an awaiting trailer just before lunch and the team departed for home!
