Mission Reports: Switzerland RV

April 30th a team from Colorado 4×4 Rescue and Recovery went up just beyond the parking area at the south end of the Switzerland Trail to assist a RV in getting out of a camping spot. This was a relay for help via the Colorado Connection Ham Radio Repeater system.

Once they pulled into that small area, it was unable to get back onto the road under its own power.

Pretty sure this is the first RV recovery of this size for the team!

A couple of anchor vehicles and a redirect off a sturdy tree directly behind the RV made for relatively quick work pulling this back onto the main road. After pulling back about 200 feet, it was able to drive out under its own power.
