Mission Reports: Mount Herman F150

Tuesday the 16th a team from Colorado 4×4 Rescue and Recovery went down Mt. Herman road to get a F150 that slid off the road.

Owner reported after getting too close to the soft edge, truck just got pulled off the road. Very common with hard snowpack and soft deep snow on the edge.

Attempts to get back on were not working so help was requested!

The team headed in approximately 9 PM and was back on pavement shortly before midnight.

As we all come up for air from the major snowstorm response, a full writeup with pics and details about our transport and rescue missions / storm response is coming. Our AAR (after action review) meeting for Xylia is tonight. Stay tuned for that!!
