Mission Reports: Mount Herman Toyota

On Sunday the 21st a team from Colorado 4×4 Rescue and Recovery went down FS 318 in the Mount Herman area to recover a Tundra that slid down a very icy hill and was unable to drive out under its own power.

After a quick winch pull and putting some chains on the truck, the team and RP were able to drive out without further incident.

Remember ice is often hidden under the fresh snowfall this time of year and can become a pretty dangerous situation very fast. This Tundra did suffer some damage sliding down the hill, but luckily there were no injuries at the time of the incident!!
