Overnight Friday the 4th, a team from Colorado 4×4 Rescue and Recovery worked to pull a Ram 1500 back onto the trail near the top of Pickle Gulch.
Team members were on the road about 10 PM Friday night and reached the stuck truck at midnight Saturday morning.
The complexity of the incident required multiple re-rigs of winches to pull this truck back on the trail. The recovery of the truck was complete at 5 AM Saturday.
The team had all the gear broke down and was headed to pavement as the sun came up Saturday morning at 5:40 AM.
The last responder got home about 9:30 Saturday morning.
